Just as your heart is made to beat and your lungs are made to breathe, your brain is made to think. Through meditation you become more aware of your heartbeat, your breath and your thoughts. With this awareness you can bring a sense of calm and well-being into your daily life (there are scientifically proven health benefits to meditation.) These benefits are available to you at any time, and the best thing about it is you get to create them. There are many ways to meditate. In this workshop we will explore various paths where you may find a way that works for you. There are no prerequisites. Whether you are beginning a meditation practice, or are a seasoned practitioner, there is something for you to take away from here.
